Robyn began writing back in 2015 whilst studying at East 15 Acting School. Since then she has written for both stage and screen, specialising in female-lead work with a strong Northern comic presence. She has won and been nominated for several awards including being shortlisted for a Writers Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Musical Theatre Book Writing in 2020.  

She is a co-writer behind her company Fat Rascal Theatre's shows and one half of comedy team Foxx & Grant with frequent collaborator, Daniel Foxx.

Robyn's current work as a writer/lyricist includes: Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch  (UK tour postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19. Theatre Weekly’s ‘Best Musical of the Edinburgh Fringe 2019′, Edinburgh Sell Out Laurel Awarded. Written with Daniel Foxx & Tim Gilvin), Hexborns School of Sorcery, immersive dining experience (Opening at The Vaults September 2020), The Ascension of Mrs Leech (new musical in development with Daniel Foxx, Pippa Cleary, and Laura Elmes Productions), Buzz: A New Musical (currently back in development after touring the UK from 2016-17, winner of the Otherplace/Balkan Award. Written with Daniel Foxx & Tim Gilvin).

Previous shows include: Waiter There's a Murder in my Soup! (Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre), Vulvarine: A New Musical (Assembly, Edinburgh Fringe and UK Tour, winner of the Fairy Powered Best New Writing Award, Co-written with Daniel Foxx), Beauty and the Beast: A Musical Parody (King’s Head Theatre and UK tour, nominated for an Off West End Award. Co-written with Daniel Foxx), Tom and Bunny Save the World (Uk Tour, winner of the Vaults Festival Spirit Award).
